Mary has been involved in ASTD and ATD for many years, and in the Alaska chapter since relocating from Texas in 2003. Shortly after arriving in Alaska, Mary accepted the position of Vice President of the chapter board. When the Alaska Chapter ceased, she remained involved when the new ASTD was formed. She currently heads Transition Management, a change management consulting and training/coaching company, and runs Jarvi Homestay Bed & Breakfast in Anchorage. She served the ASTD national committees (CORE) overseeing 15 chapters across the United States in best practices for nonprofit management) and CRC, which evaluates and recognizes chapter best practices nationwide.

Dorothy Hight

Dorothy combined health care and training early in life, and has dedicated her efforts to the Community Health Aide training program. Her most recenter achievement was receipt of a lifetime achievement award for redesigning classroom-based CHAP training to distance delivered training that allowed students to receive courses in their home clinics.

Jamie has been with GCI for ~twenty years, devoting her career life to telecommunications. Jamie has made a significant contribution to the start-up of eLearning at GCI and its continuing expansion. She develops and conducts technical, procedural, and soft-skills training. Jamie has a BS in Computer Science and a BS in Mathematics.
